Cookie Policy.

I. What are cookies?

A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain web pages. Among other things, cookies allow a website to store and retrieve information about a user’s or their device’s browsing habits and, depending on the information they contain and the way you use your device, they can be used to recognise the user.

The user’s browser stores cookies on the hard drive only during the current session, taking up minimal memory space and without harming the computer. Cookies do not contain any specific personal information, and most of them are deleted from the hard drive when the browser session ends (so-called session cookies).

Most browsers accept cookies as standard and, regardless of this, allow or block temporary or stored cookies through their security settings.

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from which cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished: first-party cookies and third-party cookies. There is also a second classification according to the length of time they remain stored in the client’s browser, which can be session cookies or persistent cookies. Finally, there is another classification with five types of cookies according to the purpose for which the data obtained is processed: technical cookies, personalisation cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies and behavioural advertising cookies. For more information, you can consult the Guide on the use of cookies from the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

II. How do we use the different types of cookies?

By purpose:

Technical cookies Technical cookies are those that make it easier for the user to browse and use the different options or services offered by the website, such as identifying the session, allowing access to certain areas, facilitating orders, purchases, form completion, registrations, security, and enabling features (videos, social media…).
Personalisation cookies Personalisation cookies allow the user to access services according to their preferences (language, browser, settings…).
Analytics cookies Analytics cookies are those used to carry out anonymous analysis of the behaviour of website users, allowing user activity to be measured and browsing profiles to be created with the sole aim of improving websites.
Advertising cookies Advertising cookies allow the management of advertising spaces on the website. In addition, these cookies may be for personalised advertising, thus allowing the management of advertising spaces on the website based on the user’s browsing behaviour and habits, from which their profile is obtained, and allowing the advertising shown in the user’s browser or other profiles and social networks of the user to be personalised.

By duration:

Session cookies Session cookies last for as long as the user is browsing the website and are deleted when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookies These cookies remain stored on the user’s device until they are deleted manually or the period of duration set for that cookie has ended.

By ownership:

First-party cookies Those that are sent to the user’s device from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-party cookies Those that are sent to the user’s device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

The following table lists the classification and description of the cookies used on this website so that you can identify them in your browser:
