Our workshop in Ciutat Vella works every day to have fresh, artisan horchata, with no stabilisers or preservatives. Horchata is a natural drink with a short best-before date, and we adapt our production to daily demand.
What is horchata
It all starts with
the raw material
Horchata is a traditional, refreshing drink made from the tiger nut, a small plant tuber grown mainly in the Mediterranean area. We use tiger nuts protected by the D.O. Chufa de València and work them following a traditional process to preserve their flavour, texture and authenticity.
The tiger nuts are soaked, ground and mixed with water and sugar to obtain a natural drink that is 100% plant-based. The result is a creamy, nutritious and very refreshing horchata.
